Product Engineer Intern

For six months, you build real Flot Pilot features, from idea to production, in direct contact with customers.

Your mission

For six months, you are part of the team that builds Flot Pilot. You don’t work on a side project: your features ship to production and serve our customers.

  • Build real features, from idea to production
  • Talk to customers to understand their need before you code
  • Fix, measure and improve, every week

A typical day

Your days are split between code, customers and the team.

  • A feature to move forward
  • A call with a customer who is waiting for it
  • A code review with the team

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything. What matters is that you already code and that you learn fast.

  • You are studying or recently graduated in computer science, or you taught yourself to code
  • You already code: TypeScript, Svelte or similar
  • You learn fast, and you like to ship
  • You are available for six months, full time

How you grow

Six months is enough to see what you can do and what you enjoy doing. At the end of the internship, if it went well on both sides, we talk about what comes next.

What we offer

You learn by building a real product, with customers who use it every day.

  • An intensive six-month program
  • Your features in production, used by real customers
  • Unpaid internship: an allowance, transport and meals depending on your situation

How we work

We put technology to work for transport, and for everyone who depends on it. Here is what guides us every day.

  • Honesty

We say things as they are, to each other and to our customers.

  • Good faith

We assume the other person wants to do well.

  • Boldness

We dare to try, even if it means being wrong fast.

  • Quality

What we ship has to be solid, and pleasant to use.

  • People first

Behind every screen is someone who makes a living from it.

  • Autonomy

Everyone owns their work from start to finish.

  • Imagination

We look for the simple answer nobody has seen yet.

  • Ship early

Something useful tonight beats something perfect next month.

  • Protect our customers

Their business comes first, and we help it grow.

  • Be useful

A feature matters if it truly helps, every day.
